The law only allows for credit report for free so naturally everybody charges for the score. But some have it pretty cheap.

At least it was for me, they (bank of america) give you a trial period for free that included the credit score. But then after 30 days you have to pay to get it updated... Other sites might not give you the actual score without paying.

Credit scores are proprietary and you have to pay for them. Most creditors use FICO scores. So if you buy your score make sure you get a FICO and not a Fako. Best place to buy your score is MyFICO.com
