You can get a free credit REPORT without enrolling in anything. Try http://www.freecreditreport.com

However, if you want your credit SCORE, then you will have to enroll in one of those stupid %26quot;credit shield%26quot; plans. I have been told, though I have not done it myself, that you can enroll, get your score, and then cancel your enrollment before the first bill.

The government has a website that you can check you credit report twice a year for free with three different agencies. So you could check twice a year with all three agencies. www.annualcreditreport.com is the website. No cost

You are entitle, every year, to one free credit report from each agency. You need to dig through their websites a little to find it, because they want you to pay for it. However, you don%26#039;t need to pay a dime.

Stay away from Freecreditreport.com it only gives you 1 or 2 of the 3 credit reports.

www.Annualcreditreport.com is what all financial mangers I have spoke to recomend. I have sent away for mine and it reports all 3 companies.

I can actually email you the form all you have to do is fill it out and mail it. Let me know if you would like me to do so.

go to: freecreditreport.com you are entitled to get one free credit report a year. it is not going to include your credit score. you will have to pay around $7.00 dollars for that, but you will be able to check for any mistakes and see if your creditors wrote anything bad about you

and freecreditreport.com does give you all three beurows and they email it to you instantly. you can even see a sample of what the report looks like on their page. i like it b/c it shows them side by side so you can see what each creditor said to each company all in one page

Under the FACT ACT you are now entitled to a free credit report each year from each of the three major bureaus. The government has set up a site to request your report under this provision. The address is http://www.annualcreditreport.com or the phone number is 1.877.322.8228. If you dont request your scores, you will not be asked for a credit card.

All other sites are commercial sites and may require a card onfile or enrollment in service to get report. Even the three bureaus will refer to annualcreditreport.com to requesst free report unless you have been denied credit, are on welfare, been denied employment, or suspect identity theft.
