you need to keep an eye on it to make sure that all of the items on it are actually yours...if anything isn%26#039;t yours, someone could have committed identity theft on you, or as in another case i know, someone had almost the same social security number as another person which wasn%26#039;t figured out until she disputed something on her report.

Sometimes things are reported wrong and you have to get it corrected. For example, I refinanced my car and when I checked my credit report it had that I was making car payments to both places instead of having the one saying closed. all the above answers are correct. take me for an axample my brother married a girl with the same first and middle name as me and her new last name is of course my married name and we are from a small community and both live in the country and therefore have the same rural mailing address so unfortuneatley at the credit bureau they punch in name look at address because I come up first it is reported on my credit now causing me HUUGGGEEEE problems, take their advice check your credit!!!
